It's Choose Day. That day of the week when I go on a dream shopping spree and imagine actually taking home the thing currently at the top of my lust list.
This week, I'm tackling my eldest son's organisation issues. It's been the cause of much mother/son conflict over the past few months and having blamed everyone else, the boy is now blaming the furniture. He knows how to hit me where it hurts.
Fair do's, he has had to make do with hand me down furniture ever since he got a room to call his own. We're cruel like that apparently. He will soon be 12, that age when he starts to actually really care about how his room looks - and I have to admit, it is about time he got some kit to be proud of.
After a fruitless search on foot, I'm excited to have found the perfect bedroom furniture online, from (why didn't I think of them before) dreamy interiors store, Loaf.
Well, hello Legende.
So nice is this range that he might even be allowed the co-ordinating drawers.
I have a big problem with bedroom furniture. I'm yet to come across the perfect on budget fitted wardrobes. Me and flat pack/gloss don't mix. I'm not a fan of matchy-matchy sets and yet I do like to pull together a coherent look. I like the vintage vibe but need something practical and hard wearing for this particular job.
Loaf ticks all my boxes with modern rustic designs, made from reclaimed wood (fir in this case). The finish is well-loved and yet fresh. Kind of how I'd like my son to be come to think of it.
Sadly, the wardrobe is currently out of stock, but new deliveries are expected soon and those lovely folk at Loaf will be sure to let me know when I can have one. This gives me just enough time to save a few pennies and sort out the boy's mess.
That's the bedroom tackle, tackled. What's on your dream interior shopping list?
Happy Choose Day all,
